The Protector and Protector Cougar Cabs:
Totally pressurises 360 ° visability
The TGF can be fitted with two exclusive new models of Antonio Carraro pressurised, super-low cabs: the Protector and Protector Cougar. Its total height from the ground id extremely low and this allows it to move easily amongst extremely dense vegetation, keeping an ample living space within the cab itself. The suspended pedals guarantee total isolation from the cab's floor. In addition the new rear window, combined with the ample front and side transparent surfaces consent 360° visibility; this means that the equipment can be kept in view and can be easily maneuvered even in tight inaccessible places.
With the Protector and Protector Cougar cabs, the operator is perfectly safe to breath in clean air during crop spraying.
A real on board computer provides current information on the level of pressurisation and on the durability of the active carbon filters, indicating immediately any problems caused for example by the incorrect closure of a door or a momentary jamming of the filter. The automatic total control system
indicates three levels of attention: "Awaiting pressure" before work is begun, "Second level" where protection is guaranteed but it is advisable to check the filters and "First level" above which the isolation of the operator is no longer guaranteed.
The suspended pedals are positioned completely within the cabs, which differs from when the pedals are attached to the floor: this means no air or noxious substances can enter and the pressurisation is perfect.
The internal comfort is that of the level of automobiles even for operators who are of above average height and weight. They are fitted with central heating and air conditioning systems, with the vents pointed in such a way as to prevent air hitting the back or neck; the Protector and Protector Cougar cabs offer ample space for the operator's arms and legs. Noise levels are well below those set out by the law thanks to the Silent-Blocks on which the cabs are fitted; vibrations are also reduced to a minimum.
  • Minimum height (Protector: mm/in 1900/74.8 - Protector Cougar: mm/in 1650/65) = easy movement amongst crops without damaging branches or fruit.
  • Minimum width (mm/in 630/24.8) = easy penetration of narrow row crops or leafy cultivation's.
  • Maximum internal driving and working comfort = doesn't create problems of space even for operators of above average height and weight.
  • Visibility at 360° = total and always guaranteed
  • Air conditioning as standard with easy access to heating and air-conditioning systems
  • Total isolation thanks also to the pedals suspended inside the cab.
  • Internal pressurisation with liquid crystal safety display = maximum safety for the operator during spraying with the possibility to use active carbon filters*, protection from environmental agents, dust and pollen.
