Its low centre of gravity, grip, power, execution speed, solidity, even its design all contribute to the TRG being an extremely safe tractor.
The benefit of the ACTIO chassis keeping the centre of gravity low gives the tractor maximum stability even on very steep slopes: in fact in critical situations such as when the vehicle stalls or when it loses grip the vehicle moves laterally in order to avoid rolling over. Furthermore, the ample central oscillation guarantees the wheels perfect grip on all types of rough or sinking ground and consequently constant traction and optimisation of the power going to the ground. The TRG has a powerful, integral braking system with internal oil bath disks which have a hydraulic control which does not suffer from wear and tear and does not need to be adjusted. The braking system is integral and while braking the tractor remains perfectly stable even with the front axle disengaged. This allows, amongst other things, homologation for speeds up to 40 Km/h (25 mph). The front brake disengages automatically with the use of the steering brakes in order to reduce the turning circle to a minimum in confined spaces. Again, the short wheel base and tight steering allow rapid disengagement in all situations; many available speeds and therefore a minimum gap between one and another ensure operational continuity in all situations; the rear draft and position control lift which determines the position of the equipment to the exact millimeter along with the load to the engine, allows the vehicle to follow the contours of the terrain perfectly and also stops any dangerous skidding even when loaded with very heavy tools and pieces of equipment; the elecrohydraulic controlled differential gear lock, which can be on just the rear or on both axles according to the situation, rules out dangerous sliding and affords the tractor with superb traction. The roll-bar and cab frame, which are both homologated to carry extremely heavy loads, along with the central drive position, which totally protects and surrounds the operator, combined with the design feature of having no sharp edges completes the total picture of the TRG's active and passive safety systems.
