Structurally different from the other PASQUALI two-wheel tractor versions, mod. XN 15.5 is a highly professional machine designed for heavy duty continuous service. The strongly built gearbox with gears in line and made of die-cast aluminium, allowing the use of powerful 12.2 HP single-cylinder LOMBARDINI 3LD510 diesel engines that offer a strong engine torque at even low engine rates in both the recoil starter and electric starter versions. The gearbox has 4 forward speeds and 1 reverse speed whether the machine is used with rear implements or front ones, by turning steering column through 180°. The 970 rpm PTO with engagement in oil bath is independent from the gearbox and can, if required, become synchronized with the ground speed of the machine when trailers must be towed. The clutch is the dry multiple plate type. The differential with lock makes the machine more maneuverable with fade-free grip even on irregular or slippery ground.
The implements can be rapidly and safely hitched and unhitched thanks to an efficient quick coupling which does away with the need for wrenches. Although is has been typically designed for tillage work, two-wheel tractor XN 15.5 is so versatile that it perfectly adapts to a whole series of jobs, e.g. intensive cultivation's in greenhouses, in the open field or ground care.
